How Luzintaworks

What if you forget to take Luzinta
If you miss a dose of Luzinta, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

Administration
Administered only orally as advised by the physician.
Adult Dose
1 capsule daily or as advised by the physician.
Child Dose
Not recommended for children.
Renal Dose
It should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Vaskar Laban may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Contraindication
Generally no report in the scientific literature for Lutein and Zeaxanthin at doses up to 40 mg for 2 months.Lutein and Zeaxanthin are especially concentrated in rods which are specialized light sensitive cell or photoprotector in retina and responsible for black and white vision in the dark
Mode of Action
Lutein and Zeaxanthin have immunostimulant and photoprotectant properties. Precautions
Over doses may mildly elevate blood pressure. Safety in young children or individuals with severe hepatic or renal disease is not known.

Interaction
Certain drugs have been reported to decrease absorption of Lutein and Zeaxanthin. Proton-pump inhibitors and lipid lowering drugs may reduce the absorption of carotenoids.
