Jigarine – Liver Support & Protection (Unani Medicine)

Jigarine is a research-based Unani liver tonic formulated by Hamdard to strengthen the liver, improve its functional capacity, and protect it from harmful toxins. It helps restore normal liver activity, enhances bile secretion, improves appetite, boosts digestion, and supports overall health.

The combination of powerful herbs such as Barjasuf and Afsanteen works as an anti-inflammatory, hepatoprotective, antioxidant, and metabolic stimulant. Jigarine also helps improve immunity and protects the liver from damage caused by medications, chemicals, infections, and metabolic disorders.

Barjasuf:

Useful in: jaundice, liver inflammation, gallstones, kidney stones, bladder infection, malarial fever, bleeding disorders, menstrual irregularities, infections & arthritis.

Afsanteen (Afsanteen):

Contains artemisinin, cineole, thujone, flavonoids.
Actions:
• Antiparasitic
• Anti-inflammatory
• Brain tonic
• Hepatoprotective
• Antipyretic
• Antimicrobial

Useful in: malaria, jaundice, liver inflammation, hepatomegaly, splenomegaly, biliary obstruction & gout.
